I’m someone with short wide feet and have worn out multiple pairs of Birkenstocks in my life. I’m experimenting to see if there are decent quality dupes out there now. The cork soles all eventually crack and crumble, no matter how much you try to protect and condition them after enough years of frequent wear. I was already surprised with how great these fit. I got Women's 8.5 and they fit perfectly and are super comfortable right out of the box. I have just been wearing them around the house so far. Time will tell how long they last but they are comfortable and I’m sure they’ll get a lot of wear.
